The Blobfish
Have you ever heard of the Blobfish? The Blobfish was voted the ugliest animal in the world!
This deep sea fish lives on the coasts of Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. When I say it is a deep sea fish I mean it because they can live at depths between 600 and 1,200 m deep!
Many scientists now fear that the Blobfish could become endangered because of deep-ocean trawling.
The Blobfish's scientific name is psychrolutes marcidus. To be honest with you I think that there are way uglier animals than this!

Jump Jam Workshop
Yesterday Morning Bret Farewheather came into school to do a leadership course. There were about five other schools that did it with us but they all had to come to our school. My favourite part was watching all of the other schools do jump jam and also learning the different steps to looking better while you do jump jam along with being confident. In case you don't know who Bret Fareweather is he is the person who is on all of the jump jam DVD's. I loved doing the workshop and would like to do it again sometime.

My Alphabet Poem
Amazing
adventures were the soldiers last thoughts,
But when they
arrived all they did was fought.
Cries of help
were among them all,
Dangerous
challenges were growing far too tall.
Excited faces
were disappearing,
Firing cannons
were reappearing.
Gun powder
drifting through the air,
Horrid screams were everywhere.
In the distance a
whistle blew,
Jumping bullets
where firing through.
Knowing they may
not survive,
their Limbs
shaking with deadly frostbite.
Many days fly by,
No sign of
delicious kai.
Oh how the
soldiers wished they were home,
Precious memories
were engraved in their bones.
Questions about
what to do,
Reaching soldiers
through and through.
Searching for a
won war,
The biggest
challenges come aboard.
Underneath all
the thick gooey mud,
Victory will be
made with a great big thud.
Wet whether came
and never went,
eXit of trenches
were never spent.
Yesterday for now
is gone,
Zeal for life
goes on and on.
